IT Project Manager required by a not-for-profit organisation covering the south of England and London who is currently undertaking numerous technology and change programmes to support the delivery of their strategic priorities.
Assignment – IT Project Manager
Location - Remote with very occasional travel (i.e. once per month)
Skills – IT Project Manager, IT Project Management, E2E, Agile, Waterfall, Application/Software Vendor Management, Procurement, ITIL, Senior Stakeholder Management
Duration - Initially a 12 month fixed term contract with a likely extension of at least a further six months
Salary - £70,000 to £80,000 + benefits
To qualify the IT Project Manager will have demonstrable end to end project delivery experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, a good knowledge of application/off the shelf software systems, experience of managing vendors to include onboarding of new vendors in collaboration with procurement, have an understanding of working in an ITIL environment, be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders with a variety of needs and wants, have the ability to provide a clear structure and plan in what can be an ambiguous environment and be a proven self-starter with strong collaboration, delivery focused, relationship building and integrity competencies.
The main focus of the role will be the vendor selection, planning and onboarding of an asset management system currently at high level requirements analysis stage. In addition, you will inherit some smaller inflight projects including data security, data architecture and an AI roadmap.
The assignment is initially for 12 months with a likely extension of at least a further six months.
