Project Manager - Healthcare Construction, Leeds

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our expanding team in Leeds, working on a range of construction projects.

Due to the nature of the work, the role will suit someone with proven experience managing building projects within Healthcare construction.

Main Purpose of Role

To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.

To act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the appropriate quality standards.

Scope

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value, depending on the project complexity. Typically, projects are valued up to £40m, but advisory services, such as urban re-generation funding, may involve larger projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising at a strategic level during project conception, including approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Establishing success criteria for time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
• Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Establishing project governance, processes, and systems.
• Producing detailed project plans.
• Advising on resource procurement.
• Leading cross-functional project teams.
• Monitoring performance using KPIs to improve project outcomes.
• Managing change control processes.
• Overseeing project finances.
• Managing project communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Preparing progress reports.
• Interfacing with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
• Business development, including developing new opportunities, cross-selling, and bid preparation.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience managing healthcare projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.
