Lead and support the shaping, initiation, and mobilisation of projects and programmes Lead end-to-end delivery of complex and multiple wealth transformation projects across jurisdictions, programmes, portfolios, or as standalone initiatives Collaborate with and influence stakeholders to define business outcomes and provide consistent reporting Consider impacts on Schroders Wealth and its clients, including commercial considerations, when planning and managing delivery Challenge decisions when appropriate to safeguard project and programme objectives Coordinate resources within matrix management frameworks Plan projects and develop, present, and communicate roadmaps and detailed plans Communicate progress and changes to programme or portfolio teams and the wider organisation Manage project budget diligence and reporting, or contribute to programme and portfolio budgeting to support delivery within budget Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies; elevate as appropriate and act as an escalation point for stakeholders and change resources Understand and manage business readiness activities where appropriate Create, own, and manage project artefacts Identify organisational challenges affecting projects and agree strategies to address them Deputise for Programme Managers and Portfolio Leads where appropriate Promote agreed change standards and adapt methodologies, templates, and artefacts to support different scenarios Mentor and support the development of change expertise across Corporate Services Change and the wider Schroders community Support recruitment and onboarding for internal and external hires Provide change leadership in a range of scenarios Contribute to the development of a collaborative Wealth Transformation Team culture.
Proven experience as a Business Change Project Manager Strong understanding of the Wealth and Asset Management industry Experience delivering complex business and technology transformation projects Relevant professional qualifications in project management and/or wealth and asset management Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the ability to apply them appropriately Experience using change management tools and techniques Track record of delivering large-scale transformation in complex organisations Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams Strong judgement, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills Stakeholder management experience, including building consensus, influencing outcomes, and overcoming challenges at all levels Strong consulting and collaboration skills, including engaging and influencing senior and executive stakeholders Understanding of target operating models, business architecture, and organisational design frameworks Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, including challenging messages to senior and C‑suite stakeholders Experience resolving complex issues, escalating appropriately, and contributing to sustainable solutions Skilled in negotiating priorities and trade‑offs to deliver high‑value outcomes Ability to facilitate discussions and drive decisions across diverse stakeholder groups Commercial awareness, including budget management and balancing business objectives with organisational priorities Financial acumen and budgeting experience Effective leadership of project teams and change resources Comfortable with ambiguity and change, and able to respond proactively to changing circumstances Receptive to others’ ideas and constructive when challenged Ability to handle pressure and setbacks constructively Proactively seeks feedback, accepts it positively, and regularly provides feedback to colleagues Committed to high performance, resilience, adaptability, high standards, and continuous improvement Будет плюсом: Front Office transformation and Data/AI initiatives.
