The business delivers a range of projects, including new-build production facilities, factory expansions, refurbishments, industrial fit-outs and facility upgrades.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality construction schemes in technically demanding environments.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from initial mobilisation through to practical completion and handover.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure that all aspects of project delivery are managed effectively.

You will be responsible for maintaining programme, cost, quality and safety standards while ensuring that construction activities are aligned with the client's operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.

  • Develop, maintain and monitor project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.

  • Manage project budgets, cost reporting, variations and change control.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal project teams.

  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

  • Monitor progress on site, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure construction works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

  • Manage procurement activities, subcontractor packages and material requirements.

  • Maintain project risk registers and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, CDM Regulations and site-specific requirements.

  • Coordinate construction activities with mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, drainage and other specialist building services where applicable.

  • Support commissioning, testing, snagging, documentation and final handover.

  • Produce regular progress reports covering programme, cost, risks, quality and key actions.

Where projects involve live food manufacturing environments, you will also need to coordinate works carefully around production activities, hygiene requirements, site access and operational continuity.

About You

You will be an organised and commercially aware Project Manager with experience delivering construction projects and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will be comfortable working both on site and with project stakeholders, taking ownership of challenges and ensuring that all parties remain aligned with the agreed delivery plan.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
