Job summary

Project Director position on a flagship food manufacturing development in Kent. Role entails leading delivery from inception through completion, with direct access to senior leadership and wide autonomy to influence project strategy and decisions.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams across project management, construction, design, planning and commercial functions, ensuring programme, quality, safety and client satisfaction are achieved on a major UK/Europe project.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Project Director or equivalent on large construction projects.
• Experience delivering food manufacturing, industrial or complex builds.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Project Director looking to lead the delivery of a major mission-critical from inception through to completion?

Join a leading international construction contractor delivering complex industrial and manufacturing projects across the UK and Europe.This is an opportunity to take ownership of a flagship food production development, working alongside an experienced senior leadership team on a project that will play a key role in expanding UK manufacturing capability.

Your Role as Project Director Will Include:

• Leading the successful delivery of a major food manufacturing construction project from cradle to grave.
• Providing leadership across Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial, Design, Planning and Site Delivery teams.
• Driving programme, commercial performance, quality, health & safety and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

As A Project Director You Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Project Director, Senior Project Manager, Construction Director or Operations Manager delivering major construction projects.
• Experience delivering food manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing or other technically complex construction developments.
• A strong main contractor background with responsibility for large multidisciplinary project teams.
