  • Possess knowledge of render systems, traditional and remedial brickwork, masonry and associated external envelope works.
  • Coordinate the installation and replacement of cavity barriers, fire barriers and associated fire‑stopping measures in accordance with approved specifications and design requirements.
  • Liaise with design teams, consultants, manufacturers and specialist subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure works are completed correctly.
  • Identify construction and interface risks and ensure remedial solutions are properly coordinated and documented.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, site procedures and project‑specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with site management and health and safety teams to maintain safe working environments.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place for scaffolding, work at height, demolition, falling objects, dust, noise and other construction risks.

  • Ensure works are appropriately inspected, recorded and evidenced, with photographic records and installation documentation maintained.
  • Support the management of building safety requirements, fire remediation records and relevant regulatory obligations.

  • Manage projects within fully occupied residential buildings, maintaining a professional and considerate approach to residents and building users.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing agents, resident liaison teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate information regarding planned works, access requirements, disruption and programme changes.
  • Coordinate access to properties and communal areas, minimising disruption and responding promptly to concerns.
  • Manage complaints and resolve issues professionally, escalating matters where appropriate.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Commercial & Financial Management
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and expenditure against agreed allowances.
  • Identify additional works, changes in scope and potential commercial risks, ensuring these are recorded and communicated promptly.
  • Work closely with the commercial team and Quantity Surveyors on valuations, variations, subcontractor accounts and cost reporting.
  • Assist with procurement, material ordering and subcontractor appointment to ensure projects remain commercially viable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and protect project margins.

  • Coordinate quality inspections, snagging, remedial actions and close‑out activities.
  • Ensure fire barrier installations and concealed works are inspected and documented at the appropriate stages before being covered up.
  • Compile and maintain project records, including inspection reports, photographic evidence, as‑built information, product documentation and relevant handover information.
  • Manage practical completion, client sign‑off and the timely resolution of outstanding works.
