We offer:

  • Tools and policies to support your work-life balance from flexible working approaches, sabbatical programs, paid paternity leave, maternity leave and an innovative maternity returners scheme

  • More traditional benefits, such as 25 days holiday (in addition to public holidays), private medical, dental & optical cover, online shopping discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, life assurance and a group pension plan through salary sacrifice.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology projects across our organisation. In this role, you will manage project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate with technical and business teams, and ensure successful outcomes for application development, modernization, cloud, or analytics initiatives.

You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams, applying Agile or traditional project management methods to keep projects on track. You may oversee modernization work involving APIs, microservices, or cloud platforms, or coordinate multi-team engagements with vendors and partners. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

If you enjoy leading teams, solving delivery challenges, and driving successful project outcomes, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery in line with contractual and business requirements.

  • Manage scope, budget, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies across teams and vendors.

  • Coordinate with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.

  • Apply project management methods such as Agile, Design Thinking, and traditional PM approaches.

  • Oversee technical or vendor teams and ensure quality delivery throughout the SDLC.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and application delivery

  • Experience with Agile and traditional PM methodologies

  • Cloud delivery experience (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, GCP, Red Hat OpenShift)

  • Risk, issue, dependency, and change management

  • Vendor, subcontractor, and cross-functional team coordination

  • Stakeholder engagement and communication planning

  • Contractual and financial management, including cost controls and deliverables tracking

  • Ability to manage complex or large-scale projects and programs

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and facilitation skills

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personal Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NVS) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
