SSE is seeking a Project Manager to deliver projects that enable the transition to Net Zero by upgrading our electricity network infrastructure. You will oversee safety, schedule, and budget while coordinating with design engineers, field staff and external partners.

The role requires experience in complex construction/engineering projects, NEC3 contracts familiarity, and CDM 2015 knowledge. A driving licence is essential; a company car or travel access may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex construction, infrastructure or engineering projects.
• Engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience in NEC3 construction contracts.
• Knowledge of Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage a range of projects in accordance with the investment management process and oversee risks and issues.
• Be responsible for safety, quality, cost and programme of all projects.
• Ensure project documentation, contracts and information are compliant and complete through all life cycle phases.
• Provide support to design and investment partners through stakeholder engagement to ensure projects progress safely and on plan.
• Collaborate with design engineers, field staff, contractors, customers and Local Authorities.
