A reputable consultancy firm is seeking a Project Manager with Employer's Agent experience to manage diverse projects, including schools and residential developments. The role requires strong client-facing skills, a MRICS qualification, and a CSCS card. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits, including a pension contribution.
THE ROLE
My client is seeking a Project Manager with Employer's Agent experience to join their team in Essex, working on a variety of projects.
Projects include schools, colleges, residential developments for private and public sector clients, estate regeneration schemes, master plans, offices, industrial, infrastructure, and more.
Project values are generally up to £100m.
You will be responsible for managing projects from feasibility through to completion.
Some travel may be required, covering the East of England, East Midlands, and Greater London.
The Company
The company is a successful, sizable firm of PQS/construction consultants with multiple UK offices, providing cost management, project management, and employer's agent services.
THE CANDIDATE
Suitable candidates are Project Managers or Senior Project Managers currently working in construction consultancy.
You should be comfortable working as part of a team, reporting to an Associate Director or Partner, and able to work independently.
MRICS or MAPM qualification is preferred or a willingness to work towards it.
A current CSCS card is required.
Membership or interest in the Association of Project Safety is advantageous.
Experience with Design and Build contracts, procurement, and contract administration is desirable.
Experience on large residential projects is preferred.
Experience managing junior Project Managers is a plus.
Excellent client-facing skills and broad experience in building construction are essential.
A full UK driving license is required.
The salary range is negotiable from approximately £44,000 to £65,000, plus car allowance, a generous pension contribution of 9%, and other benefits.
