Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking a Project Manager to join the Development and Regeneration team. You will manage and deliver projects that enhance community facilities and address housing, health, and social care priorities.

The Council’s Development and Regeneration team are working hard to deliver high quality, sustainable regeneration schemes across Cardiff. We are passionate about engaging with our communities and delivering projects that make a real difference to people in the city.
The team are focused on enhancing community facilities and Hub provision, upgrading local district and shopping centres, and improving our housing estates. There is a strong focus on strategic partnerships with external organisations and we work collaboratively with partners such as Cardiff & Vale Health Board and Welsh Government to deliver much needed capital schemes for integrated health, housing, and social care priorities.
Due to the increasing range of exciting projects to be taken forward, we are seeking a Project Manager to help design and deliver our extensive work programmes. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and respected group of programme and project managers to deliver our work as part of the Development and Regeneration Team.
You will work with key stakeholders, including health and social care providers, the third sector, Welsh Government, community groups, housing teams and other public services, to understand current and future capital needs and develop appropriate solutions.
You will take a lead role in managing and delivering capital schemes for integrated health, housing and social care priorities. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape project briefs, manage funding and business case requirements, facilitate design development, and promote partnership working throughout each stage of the project.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of managing and implementing capital programmes or projects, across all work stages within the built environment.
You will have a proven track record of partnership working in a collaborative and engaging environment, with the ability to appropriately influence, negotiate and work across teams and organisations.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling you to build successful relationships and trust with a wide range of partners.
