Sizewell C Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Delivery, R-Fills, Enabling and Earthworks within the Civil Works Alliance at the Sizewell site in Suffolk. The role focuses on planning, coordination and execution of earthworks and material reuse activities, with strong collaboration across construction, engineering, environmental, and commercial teams.

The ideal candidate will have proven PM experience on major infrastructure projects, a Civil Engineering background, and a CSCS card,

• Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP) desirable.
• Experience with major infrastructure or civil engineering projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the R-Fills scope within Enabling and Earthworks to align with programme milestones and cost targets.
• Oversee site operations related to bulk earthworks, material handling, and reuse strategies.
• Ensure work is executed in compliance with technical specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and implement recovery plans where required.

Project Manager - Delivery, R-Fills, Enabling and Earthworks - Sizewell - Suffolk Site based Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section.

What will you do?

The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of R-Fills scope within the Enabling and Earthworks section of the CWA at Sizewell C (SZC). This includes planning, coordination, and execution of earthworks and material reuse activities in line with project objectives, safety standards, and programme requirements.

The role is site-based and requires strong collaboration with construction, engineering, environmental, and commercial teams.

• Ensure work is executed in compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards

What are we looking for?

Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong background in earthworks, bulk excavation, or material reuse (R-Fills experience desirable)
• Experience working on large-scale, complex, and highly regulated construction sites
• Familiarity with UK construction standards and practices (SZC/HPC experience advantageous)

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable
• CSCS card (relevant level)
