Job summary

Anson McCade Pty. is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to deliver key security initiatives for a leading financial services organisation.

The role focuses on CyberArk, IGA and wider cyber security programmes in a regulated environment, coordinating with tech, security, risk and compliance teams to own delivery from planning through to support. The position offers a 6-month initial contract with hybrid on-site work (2-3 days per week) and an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ PM experience in financial services.
• Experience delivering CyberArk implementations or related security projects.
• IGA experience alongside CyberArk knowledge.
• End-to-end delivery management (scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies).
• Understanding of cyber security principles, risk management and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Excellent stakeholder management across tech, security, risk, compliance and third parties.
• Strong governance: RAID logs, reporting, budgeting and steering committee updates.
• Experience overseeing testing, deployment and transition into operations.
• PRINCE2 or PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) or penetration testing programmes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Working within a highly regulated environment, you’ll manage projects across CyberArk, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and wider cyber security programmes. You’ll work closely with technology, security, risk and compliance teams, taking ownership of delivery from planning through implementation and transition into support.

What you need

• At least 5 years’ project management experience within financial services, delivering projects in regulated, compliance-driven environments.
• CyberArk expertise is essential, with demonstrable experience delivering CyberArk implementations or related security projects.
• Broader Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) experience, alongside your CyberArk knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management and financial services regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating technology, security, risk, compliance and third-party suppliers.
• Strong project governance experience, including RAID logs, status reporting, budget forecasting and steering committee updates.
• Experience overseeing testing, deployment and transition into operational support.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence, alongside a relevant project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Experience delivering Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) projects or managing penetration testing programmes would be advantageous.
