Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager to lead cyber security initiatives for a highly regulated financial services environment. You will drive projects involving CyberArk, CLM, and pen-testing programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and enterprise governance.

Role requires strong delivery expertise, vendor coordination, and experience managing security projects within regulated settings. Hybrid onsite, with competitive day-rate aligned to IR35.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' project management experience within financial services.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology vendors.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2. PMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end cyber security projects across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal technology, security, risk, compliance and business teams, as well as third-party vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation and escalation strategies.
• Maintain project governance artefacts, including RAID logs, status reports, budget forecasts and steering committee materials.
• Oversee testing, validation, deployment, and transition-to-support activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Provide regular and accurate project reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with organisational project management methodologies and change management processes.
