Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional (Risk) to join their Submarine Solutions team on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the planning, monitoring, and control activities for submarine projects
• Applying your expertise in risk controls to ensure project milestones are met
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, and control mechanisms
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Providing insightful analysis and progress reports to support decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with BAE-Project Professional standards and methodologies
• Facilitating communication and coordination between on-site and remote teams
• Supporting the continuous improvement of project processes and controls

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in project planning, monitoring, and control in the Defence & Security sector
• Strong knowledge of risk management techniques
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and risk registers
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proven ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
• Engineering or project management degree or equivalent qualification

Contract Details:

• 6-month contract position
• Hybrid work model: 2 days on site every 2 weeks
