Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Project Manager – Commercial Refurbishment to lead a portfolio of commercial and industrial refurbishment projects from award to handover. The role emphasizes strong coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The successful candidate will bring extensive project/constructon management experience, with a focus on refurbishments, roofing, and complex sites.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience as an Project Manager, Construction Manager or related.
• Ideally have experience with flat roofing systems, refurbishment of large scale industrial and commercial projects.
• Experience within the education sector would be highly advantageous.
• Proven experience pricing construction projects and preparing tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Project Manager position working on a range of commercial/industrial refurbishments & roofing projects.
• Manage multiple construction and refurbishment projects, from contract award through to completion and handover.
• Oversee subcontractors, site teams, project programmes and budgets, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, quality and costs, identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain high standards across all sites, including occupied buildings.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams, providing progress updates and attending regular meetings with the Construction Director.
