The Opportunity

A leading main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for significant civils and enabling works packages on a major £100m infrastructure project in North London.

The role will involve overseeing complex packages including groundworks, enabling works, utilities and associated civil engineering works, working closely with the wider project team, subcontractors and client.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects and genuine long-term opportunities beyond the initial scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management and delivery of allocated civils and enabling works packages.
• Management of groundworks, utilities and associated infrastructure works.
• Coordination and management of subcontractors and site teams.

• Due to the urgency of the requirement, the client is also open to experienced freelance/contract Project Managers, particularly those who can demonstrate long-term assignments and a consistent employment history.

Package

For permanent candidates, the position is paying approximately £85,000-£120,000 plus a highly competitive package, dependent on experience.

Alternatively, experienced freelance candidates will be considered at approximately £400-£550 per day.
