Project Manager Vacancy (Civil Engineering / Groundworks)

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus car / car allowance, pension, and healthcare

Deanston Cooper's client, a highly successful civil engineering contractor with a large order book, has a current requirement for a Project Manager. Projects include enabling works, commercial groundworks, and concrete substructures for a variety of interesting building projects in the Edinburgh area.

Your duties as Project Manager will include:
  1. Planning the entire project delivery to meet contractual and industry standards
  2. Organising the resources so that suitable resources are available to deliver the project on time and defect-free
  3. Coordinating resources across the project and delivery objectives
  4. Monitoring the implementation of the QA system for quality control
  5. Taking corrective actions to improve the financial and commercial returns
  6. Coordinating with the commercial staff to ensure the resources, supply chain, and contractual opportunities can be utilised to maximise returns
  7. Taking action to enhance client relationships
  8. Monitoring safety on site and feedback learnings into the business
