Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of offshore and onshore subsea cable projects, including HV export and inter-array cable installation.

The role has end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, working with engineering teams, subcontractors, clients and offshore installation partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially successfully.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Marine or Renewable Energy or related discipline.
• 10+ years' relevant industry or EPCI experience in subsea/offshore cable projects.
• Strong experience with offshore vessels, marine logistics and cable installation operations.
• Experience managing HV export and/or inter-array cable projects.
• Strong commercial, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Korean would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial planning through to completion, including scope, programme, budget and delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors and project partners.
• Develop safe, efficient and commercially viable installation strategies.
• Provide engineering input across technical and economic feasibility stages.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, site administration and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, proposals and contracts.
• Support tender preparation, including installation methodology, tender analysis and cost estimates.
• Coordinate offshore vessels, marine logistics, cable lay operations and mobilization activities.
• Attend client, site and offshore meetings as required.
• Lead meetings with clients, authorities, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, risks, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Provide regular project reporting and maintain project documentation.

Role Overview
