Job summary

Davies Group is seeking a Project Manager in the Transformation Office to deliver end-to-end projects across the Group. You will lead cross-functional teams in a hybrid Agile and waterfall delivery environment, collaborating with senior stakeholders, business leads and third-party partners to drive measurable outcomes.

You will own scope, plans, budgets and benefits, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and seamless transition to BAU, with governance and continuous improvement at the core.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business-change projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional delivery across business and technology teams.
• Experience with transformation and/or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, including senior/executive audiences.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Proficiency using project management tools (Jira, MS Project).

Job description

As a Project Manager within the Transformation Office, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects across the Group. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to defined benefits and transformation priorities. Operating in a hybrid (Agile and waterfall) delivery environment, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, business leads, and third-party partners to drive successful and sustainable change outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Ownership

• Own delivery of projects from initiation through to completion and handover to BAU
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and dependencies

Financial & Commercial Management

• Proactively manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis
• Provide clear financial reporting to inform sponsor and Group-level decision making

Governance & Reporting

• Operate within established project governance frameworks (PMO / programme structures)
• Produce high-quality governance packs, reporting, and steerco updates
• Maintain accurate RAID logs and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, and operations
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, providing clear, concise updates
• Coordinate third-party vendors and delivery partners where applicable

Delivery Execution

• Drive progress, remove blockers, and manage interdependencies
• Ensure effective use of project tooling (e.g. Jira, MS Project, PPM tools)
• Support Agile ceremonies and/or structured delivery phases as appropriate
