Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is partnering with a leading Facilities & Construction business for a Building Fabric Project Manager role in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will manage fabric-focused upgrades and refurbishments across several client sites from inception to completion while occasionally handling minor M&E packages.

A trade background with CDM compliance and site management experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager with Design & Build background.
• Experience delivering fabric upgrade, fit out or refurbishment works.
• Experience managing multiple client-site projects in the Birmingham area.
• Proficiency with CDM, SMSTS and CSCS frameworks.
• A commercially minded approach with a strong health & safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion.
• Deliver fabric biased works across multiple sites.
• Oversee minor mechanical/electrical packages within projects.
• Coordinate with sites and maintain Birmingham-based office support.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across the region.

Project Manager – Building Fabric

West Midlands

£55-57,000 + car allowance + package

We’re partnering with a leading Facilities & Construction business on a Building Fabric Project Management opportunity in the West Midlands.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join an existing team, delivering work into one of their key customers estates.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager, ideally with a background in Design & Build projects, to deliver a range of Fabric biased works across multiple client sites in the Birmingham area.

Projects will typically range from £50k – £2million in value and will include general upgrade, fit out and refurbishment works across a range of commercial sites in the area.

The PM will be responsible for Projects from inception to completion, and will also be comfortable in picking up some minor mechanical and electrical works included within packages.

A trade background /qualification is highly desirable for this role along with SMSTS, CSCS and a strong understanding of CDM.

A typical working week will consist of a few days on different sites along with the use of the Birmingham based office.

We’re seeking a commercially minded project professional, with a good background in health & safety and contractor management and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects across a region.
