The company is an established interior fit-out contractor and bespoke joinery manufacturer with a purpose-built 71,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility in Mansfield. Established in 2000, it has a workforce of around 90 employees and delivers volume and bespoke joinery, interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across retail, restaurants, museums, heritage and commercial sectors, with project values ranging from approximately £100,000 to £1 million+.
The business has a long-standing reputation within the interior fit-out and joinery sector, with a substantial manufacturing operation supporting its contracting activities. The successful candidate will join an established team working across a varied project portfolio, with the opportunity to manage projects involving both in-house manufacturing and on-site installation.
The role provides exposure to technically detailed projects and a broad range of clients, designers, architects and main contractors. There is also scope to take greater responsibility as experience within the business develops.
As Project Manager – Bespoke Joinery, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering projects from pre-start through to completion. The role requires someone who understands the relationship between joinery manufacture, design, logistics and site installation and can keep all elements moving to programme.
The ideal candidate will have previous Project Management experience within bespoke joinery, specialist joinery, shopfitting, interior fit-out or a similar environment. A strong understanding of how joinery projects are designed, manufactured and installed is important.
Experience managing projects involving high-quality bespoke joinery, complex interiors or fast-paced fit-out environments would be particularly relevant.
