You will support system‑wide work, collaborate with Education, Social Work and third sector, and lead quality improvement initiatives to evidence outcomes and staff wellbeing.

Job description

Working within Specialist Children’s service (SCS) in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, Neurodevelopmental, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families.

As such, you will be required to be person centred and innovative in your thinking and leadership, with excellent ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with a wide range of stakeholders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support development in SCS. This role has specific focus – Neurodevelopmental post to support development of system wide work relating to Neurodevelopmental conditions and differences. Working within health and reaching out to other agencies which may include Education, Social Work and third sector, a strong background in quality improvement and project planning would be key. This post will help support evidencing clinical outcomes along with staff wellbeing and experience of service. This is aligned to the SCS Strategic Plan and cross-pathway work to move towards transformational change as well as understanding profession specific requirements.
