MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking a proactive Project Manager for our Bristol Hub to drive complex projects in Aerospace & Aviation. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage delivery, and ensure governance and reporting excellence.

You will partner with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to turn ambitious plans into reality, while delivering on time, on budget and with high quality results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects or work packages in complex technical environments such as Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Strong planning, scheduling and dependency management.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts and delivery performance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience with project reporting, change control and governance.
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through delivery with clear objectives and scope.
• Develop and maintain plans, schedules, milestones and dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditure to stay aligned with targets.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of project delivery, working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to drive projects forward in dynamic, technically challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring objectives, scope, timescales and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved.
• Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and dependencies to keep delivery on track.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, developing mitigation plans and escalating challenges where necessary.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditure to ensure projects remain aligned with financial targets.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to maintain alignment and drive progress.
• Performance Reporting: Track project performance, monitor KPIs and provide clear reporting and insights to support informed decision-making.
• Governance & Change Control: Maintain effective project governance, manage changes and ensure appropriate documentation and assurance processes are followed.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate project teams, manage competing priorities and create an environment where collaboration and accountability drive results.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, share best practice and help teams work smarter.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing projects or work packages, ideally within Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering, Manufacturing or another complex technical environment.
• Planning & Delivery: Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource management, dependencies and delivery methodologies.
• Risk, Cost & Schedule Management: Experience managing project risks, budgets, forecasts, schedules and delivery performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring teams together.
• Governance & Reporting: Experience with project reporting, change control, KPIs and project governance.
• Leadership & Problem-Solving: The ability to take ownership, manage competing priorities, make informed decisions and confidently navigate challenges.
• Digital & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Power BI would be beneficial.
