Newcastle Building Society is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Finance projects on a fixed-term basis. You will drive initiatives in a matrix environment, defining plans, controls and governance to deliver measurable business benefits.

You will manage budgets, RAID, and readiness activities, ensuring smooth transition to operations and effective documentation. The role requires PRINCE2/PMI/APM style certification and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• PRINCE2, APM, PMI or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience delivering projects in complex or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Define project structures, plans and controls with clear objectives.
• Oversee scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies.
