Job Description:

Description: This role is based at Manchester Airport and involves leading installation and commissioning tasks for conveyor systems, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Requirements of Role:

• Customer-facing with friendly and professional communication skills.
• Report to the Project Manager daily and follow all health and safety site requirements.
• Organize deliveries, check materials against packing lists and BOM, and report discrepancies.
• Lead installation and commissioning tasks with a hands-on approach.
• Coordinate with Manchester Airport Group site contact and manage site testing procedures.
• Ensure installation quality and report issues promptly.

Skills Required:

• Experience with Lane/Line roller conveyor installations.
• PLC programming skills are an advantage.
• Familiarity with software/HMI operation and MRP systems.
• Hands-on with tools and driving license for site travel.
• Ability to read PDF and CAD drawings, and work with instructions and method statements.
• Experience working in environments with public presence and understanding of quality control techniques.
• CSCS card or experience with CDM requirements preferred.
• Willingness to learn and mentor others.
