Project Manager - 2 Years Fixed Term Contract

This role will take responsibility for leading a complex project working at pace involving the planning and execution to strict timelines. Delivery against this project plan will require the matrix management of representative across multiple on-site and central functions including MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology), Operations, Supply, & Quality teams, as well as the offsite Programme Management, Commercial and Strategy teams.

In this role you will:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Manage and coordinate change requests, ensuring they are evaluated, approved, and integrated into the project plan, communicating changes effectively to all stakeholders and manage their impact on project outcomes.
- Lead the execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to GSK's standards and methodologies. Oversee the project budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources. Monitor financial performance throughout project lifecycle, identifying any variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to stay within budget.
- Ensure delivery against the project plan managing identified risks appropriately and integrating safety and quality into all processes.
- Coordinate and lead a cross-functional team through matrix management to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and address roadblocks promptly. Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders and sponsors as necessary.
- Robust project reporting through tiered accountability and governance.

- Project / programme management qualification.
- Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholder at site and the wider business
- Thorough knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements. Ability to use and interpret data to drive decision making at tactical level
- Thorough operational knowledge of manufacturing unit operations and plant/laboratory equipment
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven capabilities in enabling and driving change, delivering solutions, developing people, and building relationships across multiple interfaces and in a matrix environment
