Job summary

Cummins Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery and installation of Genset projects within the Power Gen Department in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

You will drive project initiation through to completion, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate logistics and site activities, mentor junior team members, and communicate status to stakeholders while fostering safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• Relevant project management experience, including team leadership experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Plan and coordinate all logistics, resources, deliveries, installation activities, and ITPs to support project execution.
• Schedule and oversee commissioning activities, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, manage, and report KPIs, providing visibility of project progress and outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while resolving issues to ensure success.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture by modeling safety excellence.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior Project Managers and project team members.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate project status; capture lessons learned.

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team specializing in Delivery and Instalation of Genset Projects for our Power Gen Departmen t in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead multiple projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.

• Plan and coordinate all logistics, resources, deliveries, installation activities, and Integrated Test Programs (ITPs) to support project execution.

• Schedule and oversee commissioning activities, effectively collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Monitor, manage, and report key project performance indicators (KPIs), providing clear visibility of project progress and outcomes.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues to ensure project success.

• Drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by acting as a role model and ambassador for safety excellence.

• Mentor, coach, and develop junior Project Managers and project team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

• Build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate project status effectively, and capture lessons learned to support ongoing improvement and future project success.
