Job Opportunity: Project Manager (Senior Quantity Surveyor)

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Senior Quantity Surveyor) to join a unique and evolving estate agency. This is a part-time role offering a salary of £2,500 - £3,000 per month (based on working two consecutive weekdays per week, between Monday and Thursday inclusive), accommodation, ferry costs, and other benefits.

Role Overview: As a Project Manager (Senior Quantity Surveyor), you will oversee end-to-end project delivery across building and civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.

Immediate start available.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and managing budgets for construction and maintenance projects
2. Preparing estimates, quotes, and financial forecasts to support project prioritisation
3. Managing project planning sessions and defining scope and deliverables
4. Leading planning applications and negotiations with third-party bodies
5. Coordinating project delivery within agreed timelines and financial targets
6. Monitoring progress and managing risks using standard project tools
7. Maintaining digital records and project documentation
8. Producing regular project reports for stakeholders, outlining status and key updates

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Construction Manager, or similar role
• Strong Quantity Surveying skills for costing and estimation
• Experience managing construction and/or civil engineering projects
• Leadership skills with the ability to oversee remote and on-site teams
• Organizational skills and experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with digital content or project management systems is a bonus
