Role: Project Manager

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Package (DOE)

Our client, a regional contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to oversee schemes (Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Retail) throughout Yorkshire. With secured works in the region valued at approximately £90m for 2025, they require an experienced Project Manager to lead projects ranging from £500K to £25m.

Job Description:

1. Confirm building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers.
2. Coordinate site & utility preparation (pre-construction).
3. Create work schedules to ensure projects are completed before deadlines.
4. Purchase or hire building equipment and materials.
5. Oversee building projects to ensure safety, productivity, and high standards.
6. Monitor construction budgets to minimize overspending.
7. Provide progress reports to clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
8. Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
9. Liaise with site management regarding build programmes and updates.
