Job summary

UBT seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead furniture, fixtures & equipment, interiors and contract projects across the UK. You will drive delivery from concept to completion, coordinating procurement, logistics, installation and handover while maintaining excellent client relationships.

This is a Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, office-based role in Thetford, Norfolk. You will manage budgets, schedules and stakeholders, proactively resolve issues and ensure quality and compliance throughout

Qualifications

• Experience managing FF&E, interiors, fit-out or contract projects.
• Understanding procurement, logistics, manufacturing and installation.
• Strong organisation with multi-project management.
• Commercial awareness with budgets and costs.
• Excellent client and supplier communication.
• Calm under pressure with proactive problem-solving.
• Attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment, interiors, fit-out or contract projects? Do you thrive on delivering complex projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and seeing a project through from concept to completion?

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering furniture, fixtures and equipment projects that help transform complex care environments across the UK.

From managing procurement and logistics through to installation and project handover, you'll be at the centre of every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring exceptional service, outstanding quality and successful outcomes for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing projects from initial order through to final completion
• Be key point of contact for customers
• Developing and maintaining project plans, programmes and delivery schedules
• Building strong relationships with clients, designers, contractors and suppliers
• Coordinating procurement, manufacturing, logistics and installation activities
• Managing project budgets, costs and variations
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact delivery
• Monitoring installation progress and managing snagging through to sign-off
• Providing regular project updates to both clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring quality, compliance and customer satisfaction throughout every project

This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be juggling multiple projects at different stages, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and making a genuine impact on project success.

Requirements

• Ideally, someone who has proven project management experience within FF&E, furniture, interiors, fit-out, hospitality or contract furniture sectors. We would also consider candidates who are potentially from the Facilities Management sector, or have worked on Refurbishment type projects or similar.
• We need someone who understands procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and installation processes
• Is highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Has strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and costs
• Builds excellent relationships and communicates confidently with clients and suppliers
• Takes ownership, solves problems and stays calm under pressure
• Has exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Enjoys working in a fast-moving commercial environment where priorities can shift
