Job summary

Oakley Recruitment Ltd in Tamworth is seeking a Project Manager to join a growing PMO on a full-time permanent basis. You will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, end-to-end project delivery across multiple sites, and continuous improvement of PMO standards. A dynamic team in a design-led, modern office environment awaits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • Experience producing and maintaining project documentation (plans, business cases, reports).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Monitoring project progress, risks, issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Producing and maintaining project documentation (plans, business cases, reports, minutes).
  • Coordinating with teams, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Tracking resources, costs, and KPIs with accurate reporting.
  • Assisting with risk, issue and change management processes.

Job Role:

Supporting the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are met

  • Monitoring project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where required
  • Producing and maintaining project documentation, including business cases, project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinating and communicating effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Tracking project resources, costs, and key performance metrics, providing accurate reporting and updates
  • Supporting risk, issue, and change management processes, escalating matters appropriately when required
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes, and best practices
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment
Skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in project management (minimum of 3 years)
  • Strong organisational and project-planning abilities
  • Prince 2 Certification
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and small project phases
  • Experience creating detailed project documentation (project plans, business cases, reports, etc.)
  • Proficiency with project management software
  • Excellent telephone manner and client facing experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 365
  • Quick learner who can learn new technologies.
  • A basic understanding of security and data privacy principles
  • Experience in ERP or WMS platforms preferred not essential
  • Prior experience working in multi-site or cross-functional project teams
