Job summary

Ovia Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ERP and WMS implementation programmes, including planning, governance, testing, training, cutover activities, and delivery.

You will contribute to PMO-led initiatives spanning IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, customer service, finance, HR, sales, and business transformation, with travel across sites required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management (min 3 years).
• Strong organisational and project-planning abilities.

• Experience creating detailed project documentation (plans, business cases, reports).

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Produce and maintain project documentation (business cases, plans, reports).
• Coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Track resources, costs, and KPIs, providing accurate reporting and updates.
• Support risk, issue, and change management processes and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to PMO standards, processes, and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

As a Project Manager, you will support key ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programmes, including project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, cutover activities, and delivery. You will also contribute to a wide range of PMO-led initiatives spanning functions such as IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, customer service, finance, HR, sales, and business transformation. Travel will be required across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Produce and maintain project documentation, including business cases, project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Track project resources, costs, and key performance metrics, providing accurate reporting and updates.
• Support risk, issue, and change management processes, escalating matters appropriately when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, processes, and best practices
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced business environment

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience in project management (minimum of 3 years)
