Job summary

Rullion Ltd in the UK is seeking a Project Manager on a permanent basis to oversee a series of projects upgrading transmission substation protection and control systems, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. You will work in a hybrid role based at Stone, Staffordshire, with responsibility for NEC3/4 contracts, subcontractor management, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge working to NEC3/4 contracts.
• Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering industry, preferably Power Transmission or similar regulated background.
• Demonstrable experience planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be commercially astute & identify early commercial and technical risks/issues and find resolutions.
• Must have demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction and quality.
• Experience of subcontractor management.
• Strong leadership skills, including team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a series of projects to deliver upgrades/modifications to existing transmission substation protection and control systems.
• Ensure delivery to timescales, specifications, budget and customer satisfaction; maintain overall financial responsibility for projects.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Monitor risks, issues and changes; implement resolutions to protect project outcomes.

• A Project Manager is required to manage a series of projects to deliver upgrades/modifications to existing Transmission substation protection and control systems.

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Experience and knowledge working to NEC3/4 contracts.
• Management role responsible for various projects, could be from the range of £50K to £2M, from inception through to delivery within demanding timescales
• Ensuring that the project is delivered to timescale, specification, budget and customer satisfaction.
• Overall financial responsibility for the projects
• Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering industry, preferably Power Transmission industry or similar regulated background
• Demonstrable experience planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
