Job summary

ABB is seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams and drive delivery for Energy Industries customers. You will plan, execute, and close projects, coordinating resources and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

You will develop key documents, monitor progress, manage finances, and mitigate risks, while building strong relationships with stakeholders. Hybrid work from Daresbury or St Neots supports collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team assigned to your projects, setting clear objectives, coordinating activities, and supporting team members to successfully achieve project milestones.
• Develop and maintain key project documentation, including scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with ABB processes, standards, and best practices, while monitoring progress, performance, and resource utilisation.
• Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, cost control, expenses, and cash flow.
• Capture and share lessons learned and ensure projects close in accordance with contractual requirements.
