Role responsibilities:

1. Responsible for a number of projects at different stages of the project lifecycle.
2. Within each project, responsible for: end-to-end management including scheme development, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with asset teams, designers, sub-consultants, construction teams, and contractors.
3. Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders such as Planners, Construction Managers, Project QS, Asset and Design Teams.
4. Oversee the P6 programme with the planning team, including critical path activities.
5. Handle commercial management tasks including cost planning, supply chain quotations, invoice review, forecasting, and applications review.
6. Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and schedule compliance.
7. Lead Gateways and collaborative cost reviews with the client and project team.
8. Follow project governance procedures, prepare and deliver presentations for project gateways.
9. Provide routine reports on project schedule, risks, and commercial status internally and to the client.
10. Engage in the Collaborative M25 Community, including forums and workshops.
11. Support sustainability initiatives and align with business plan objectives.

Working arrangements:

• Willingness to travel to other offices and site visits, including night shifts for H&S audits.
• Full driving license required.

Qualifications/skills:

• Project management experience, preferably with recognized qualifications such as PRINCE2 or APMP.
• Degree qualification and membership of a professional institution or working towards it.
• Knowledge of Highway or Structures Engineering and related design areas.
• Understanding of CDM, H&S, and Environmental legislation related to Highway Engineering.
• Knowledge of NEC and other relevant contract forms.

Location:

This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week at CPS M25 offices, including one day in Dartford.
