Job summary

Korn Ferry is hiring a Project Manager in a hybrid role based in the UK with on-site presence at Birmingham up to 3 days per week. You will own day-to-day delivery of defined projects, convert priorities into controlled plans and coordinate cross-functional activity to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities include creating delivery plans, managing dependencies and risks, reporting to programme boards, and coaching colleagues in project controls to ensure alignment from strategy to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering business-change, service-improvement or operational projects.
• Experience operating within governance and assurance environments.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies and delivery partners.
• Public-sector or local-government experience is desirable.
• Project delivery qualifications or equivalent experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mobilise projects and workstreams, confirming scope, outcomes, milestones, governance and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain delivery plans, dependency maps, RAID logs, decision logs and action trackers.
• Coordinate business, digital, operational, commercial and supplier activity as required.
• Prepare concise reporting for programme boards and senior stakeholders, including clear paths to green.
• Control scope and manage change requests, making cost, time, risk and outcome impacts explicit.
• Track delivery against agreed milestones and intervene early where progress is at risk.
• Manage stakeholder communications, workshops and decision points.
• Embed proportionate project controls and coach colleagues in their use.
• Work closely with Programme Managers and Business Analysts to maintain line of sight from strategy to delivery.
