  • Location: UKRI , STFC , Oxford
  • Hours Per Week: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

The Project Manager shall:

  • Manage all site staff
  • Drive project planning
  • Manage and control project resources
  • Oversee the overall management of projects
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Procedures
  • Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Procedures
  • Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship on site
  • Monitor and control all aspects of the project
  • Deliver projects within programme and budget
  • Adhere to site-specific project protocols and procedures
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors
  • Communicate effectively with the project management team
  • Liaise with clients and designers
  • Attend and chair project progress meetings and prepare reports
  • Attend and chair subcontractor meetings as required
  • Compile and distribute project meeting minutes
  • Maintain contractual records
  • Participate in contract meetings with the Client
  • Introduce improvements and innovations
  • Control contract costs
  • Promote the company positively
  • Compile and submit O&M manuals upon project completion

About You

Essential Criteria

  1. Experience in a Project Management role
  2. Strong communication and management skills
  3. Experience delivering commercial projects up to £1mil
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope and value
  5. Knowledge of NEC 4 contracts (preferable)
  6. Proficiency in MS Project
  7. Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  8. Excellent presentation skills
