Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Engineer for our Oxfordshire site to manage multiple regulated projects cradle-to-grave from requirements through delivery.

This permanent role offers a base of £40,000–£50,000 with a £55–60k OTE, plus hybrid working and structured progression under an international leadership team.

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred; apprenticeship background considered.

Project Engineer

£40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (£55-60k OTE) + Hybrid Working + Training + Progression

Oxford, Oxfordshire (Commutable from: Banbury, Bicester, Aylesbury, Buckingham, Brackley, Kidlington, Witney)

Are you a Project Engineer from a defence or other highly regulated environment, who wants to deliver complex end-to-end projects? Do you want structured development and clear progression into senior project leadership?

This is a permanent position with a globally recognised engineering manufacturer, offering a long-term platform to deepen your technical credibility while being supported by experienced Project Managers and an international leadership team.

You'll be joining an organisation with a long-established track record and a worldwide footprint, where internal progression is actively supported and you can develop into more senior technical or people-lead roles as you grow.

Based out of the Oxfordshire site, you'll manage multiple customer projects from requirements capture through delivery, coordinating technical support and the wider commercial process while maintaining high standards expected in regulated industries.

This role suits a Project Engineer motivated by technical development, who wants the training to be the go-to engineer for a leading manufacturer, and long-term progression within a respected global engineering business.

The Role:

• Managing multiple regulated engineering projects cradle-to-grave from the Oxfordshire site
• Client-facing delivery: define requirements, coordinate technical/commercial stakeholders, and drive projects through to completion
• Permanent position, 40 hours per week, hybrid working opportunities available

The Person:

• Project engineering / project management experience within defence or other highly regulated industries (essential)
• Technical engineering background (technical degree preferred, apprenticeship background also considered)
• Confident communicating with stakeholders and running multiple concurrent projects
