Qualifications

• Experience as an Engineering Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Engineer or Engineering Project Lead.
• Strong engineering or technical grounding.
• Experience delivering complex engineering, manufacturing or product development projects.
• Strong project planning, risk, budget and change management skills.
• Hands-on, proactive and delivery focused.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, automotive, motorsport or advanced engineering would be highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day project management and delivery of complex engineering projects.
• Build and maintain project plans, Gantt charts, milestones and actions.
• Manage risks, dependencies, decision logs and change control.
• Track budgets, resources, timescales and delivery.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
• Identify blockers and drive actions through to completion.
• Keep project documentation and reporting clear and up to date.
• Support engineering leadership in keeping technically demanding projects moving quickly.

Are you an Engineering Project Manager or Project Engineer who enjoys being close to the technical detail and making sure things actually get delivered?

Niche Recruitment is supporting an innovative engineering business in Witney to recruit an Engineering Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering highly complex engineering programmes.

You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, getting into the detail of live projects and bringing the structure, planning and project discipline needed to turn fast-moving engineering activity into successful delivery.

The environment is agile, technically challenging and moves quickly. Priorities can change, deadlines are demanding and you’ll need to be someone who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves, identifying what needs to happen next and making sure it gets done.
