Think Recruitment in Northampton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across retail, commercial and hospitality sectors. You will manage projects from inception through to completion in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

The role requires coordinating design, commercial and joinery teams, leading subcontractors on site, maintaining programmes and budgets, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within interiors, fit-out, or construction.
• Experience delivering projects in retail, commercial, or hospitality sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication with clients and internal teams.
• Commercial awareness and experience with cost control teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final handover.
• Take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring programmes are met and projects are completed on time.
• Coordinate design, commercial, and manufacturing/joinery divisions.
• Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on site.
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and support commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings, reporting, and progress updates.
• Identify risks early and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.

An established interior fit-out and refurbishment principal contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality projects across the retail and hospitality sectors. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment, managing multiple projects from inception through to completion while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final handover
• Take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring programmes are met and projects are completed on time
• Coordinate internal teams including design, commercial, and manufacturing/joinery divisions
• Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on site
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and support commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Ideally have managed high quality projects up to the value of £7m
