Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major production equipment installation in a live food manufacturing facility in Newcastle. You will coordinate contractors, drive delivery, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role covers oversight of conveyors, processing machinery, filling or packaging systems, with a focus on completing on programme and within budget, while maintaining strong client relationships and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Direct experience delivering CAPEX or equipment installation projects.
• Experience working within live operational facilities.
• Construction or Engineering qualification relevant to the role.
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and NEBOSH qualifications are desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Newcastle | 12-Month Contract | Competitive Day Rate

Take Ownership of a Business-Critical Installation

Ganymede is supporting an established principal contractor in the appointment of an experienced Project Manager to lead a major production equipment installation within a live food manufacturing facility in Newcastle.

The project involves the installation of production equipment typically found on food manufacturing lines, such as conveyors, processing machinery and filling or packaging systems.

Working closely with the end client and key project stakeholders, you'll take ownership of site delivery, coordinating contractors and installation activities to ensure the project is completed safely, on programme and within budget.

With a strong order book extending into 2027 and 2028, this is an opportunity to deliver a significant CAPEX project with potential for further contract opportunities.

The Role
