We have an exciting and new opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager to join a rapidly expanding business.

An established family run business with over 50 years of expertise in quality building, renovation, and landscaping services are currently expanding their team.

This organisation is enjoying considerable growth in the refurbishment sector and currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

This role is vital to managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations, and building effective schedules for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining clear schedules for employees and subcontractors
• Oversee materials on-site, ensuring timely orders and deliveries to prevent delays
• Use project management software for scheduling, and tracking progress
• Monitor projects with Gantt charts and other scheduling tools to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
• Respond proactively and reactively to challenges such as last-minute material needs, staffing shortages, or schedule changes
• Conduct site visits to monitor employee performance, compile snag lists, and provide feedback to management
• Manage project budgets, keeping projects aligned with estimated costs and profit margins
• Maintain detailed project reports and communicate progress effectively with all stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

• Highly proficient with technology and project management software
• Experienced in project scheduling, estimation, and budget tracking
• Skilled in proactive planning as well as quick reactive problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage site teams and collaborate with management
• Familiar with Gantt charts and other project tracking methods
• Comfortable working both in the office and on-site to bridge field operations with administrative planning.

Salary range & Benefits

GBP40,000-GBP50,000 per annum depending on experience
