Job summary

Canopius is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Change Team and work across business strategic projects. You will collaborate with the business and Technology to support Canopius’ growth ambitions and deliver key initiatives.

Responsibilities include day-to-day project management, scoping, design and delivery of projects, governance, and stakeholder engagement across senior levels, including the C-suite. A hybrid working model is offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of London Market insurance.
• Proven track record of successful project/programme delivery.
• Effective communication and presentation skills tailored for diverse audiences.
• Good stakeholder management across cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Ability to produce high quality project documentation.
• Proactive and structured working approach.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of all project activities.
• Capture and agreement of clear and measurable scope at project start.
• Design, plan and implement projects, standalone or as part of a programme, per scope and objectives.
• Deliver projects with defined success criteria, on time, budget and quality.
• Lead risk, actions, and issues with stakeholders and teams.
• Governance and reporting per Change methodology.
• Stakeholder management across the business, including C-suite.
• Prepare and run steering groups and governance forums.
• Create communications plan for clear, timely updates.
• Identify and manage dependencies across a diverse portfolio of Change.
• Ensure adoption of solutions with effective rollout and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of all project activities
• The capture and agreement of clear and measurable scope at the start of the project
• Todesign, plan and implement projects,either standalone or as part of a larger programme, or programmes according to scope, targets andobjectivesset for time of delivery,budgetand quality.
• Successful project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals.
• Lead identification of risks, actions, and issues through proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders and various teams
• Project reporting and governance processesaccording to Changemethodology
• Stakeholder managementacross the business, includingC-suite.
• Creation, preparation and running ofsteering groupsand other governancegroups
• Creation of a communication plantoensure comms are clear,transparentandtimely
• Identification and management of dependenciesacross a diverse portfolio of Change
• Successful adoption of the solution, ensuringappropriate roll-outstrategy and engagement.
