Job summary

Canopius in Manchester is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Change Team and drive strategic business projects. You will work with the business and Technology to ensure delivery of key initiatives across a growing portfolio, balancing scope, time, budget and quality.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, excellent communication, and a proven track record in delivering complex programmes within the London Market insurance space.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects/programmes in insurance or financial services.
• Evidence of cross-functional delivery with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
• Strong collaboration with business and technology teams.
• Proactive approach to planning, risks and issues.
• Structured, methodical work style and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of all project activities
• Capture and agreement of clear and measurable project scope
• Design, plan and implement projects standalone or as part of a programme
• Deliver projects in line with defined success criteria and goals
• Lead identification of risks, actions and issues with stakeholders
• Maintain project governance and reporting per Change methodology
• Manage stakeholder relationships including C-suite
• Create and run steering groups and governance forums
• Develop and execute a clear communication plan
• Identify and manage dependencies across a portfolio of Change
• Ensure adoption and rollout strategy for solutions

Responsibilities will include:

• Day-to-day management of all project activities
• The capture and agreement of clear and measurable scope at the start of the project
• Todesign, plan and implement projects,either standalone or as part of a larger programme, or programmes according to scope, targets andobjectivesset for time of delivery,budgetand quality.
• Successful project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals.
• Lead identification of risks, actions, and issues through proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders and various teams
• Project reporting and governance processesaccording to Changemethodology
• Stakeholder managementacross the business, includingC-suite.
• Creation, preparation and running ofsteering groupsand other governancegroups
• Creation of a communication plantoensure comms are clear,transparentandtimely
• Identification and management of dependenciesacross a diverse portfolio of Change
• Successful adoption of the solution, ensuringappropriate roll-outstrategy and engagement.
