Job summary

Canopius requires an experienced Project Manager to join the Change Team in Manchester, supporting business strategic projects and collaborating with business and Technology teams.

You will oversee day-to-day project activities, define scope, design and implement projects, and ensure delivery to time, budget and quality. The role involves reporting, governance, and close collaboration with C-suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Understanding of London Market insurance and related processes.
• Proven track record delivering projects/programmes on time and within scope.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management across cross-functional teams and C-suite.
• Ability to produce high-quality project documentation and plans.
• Demonstrates proactive, structured work approach.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of all project activities.

Canopius require an experienced Project Manager to jointhe Change Teamtowork across businessstrategic projects.Working alongside the business andTechnology, the Project Manager will be workingon key projects to support Canopius’continuinggrowth ambitions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Day-to-day management of all project activities
• The capture and agreement of clear and measurable scope at the start of the project
• Todesign, plan and implement projects,either standalone or as part of a larger programme, or programmes according to scope, targets andobjectivesset for time of delivery,budgetand quality.
• Successful project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals.
• Lead identification of risks, actions, and issues through proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders and various teams
• Project reporting and governance processesaccording to Changemethodology
• Stakeholder managementacross the business, includingC-suite.
• Creation, preparation and running ofsteering groupsand other governancegroups
• Creation of a communication plantoensure comms are clear,transparentandtimely
• Identification and management of dependenciesacross a diverse portfolio of Change
• Successful adoption of the solution, ensuringappropriate roll-outstrategy and engagement.
