Job summary

CSS in the United Kingdom is seeking a project manager to run projects from start to finish, handling surveys, delivery and close-out up to £300,000 while collaborating with supervisors, engineers and subcontractors.

You will manage site set-up, day-to-day delivery, travel across the M62/M1 corridor, and support invoicing and record-keeping. Requires SMSTS and CSCS; gas project management preferred; company laptop/tablet and van or car allowance, with enhanced holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS Card are essential.
• Gas Project Management experience preferred; AC/Vent/Civils backgrounds also considered.
• Experience in managing direct labour, subcontractors and local supply chain.
• Sound understanding of CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Managing site set-up and mobilisation.

• Ensure projects meet time and budget targets.
• Travel across M62 and M1 corridor; cover further as required.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Support project close-out, including invoicing.
• Carrying out site surveys and pricing small works.
• Generate additional project opportunities and support growth.
• Working towards Security Clearance (SC), with existing SC clearance or British nationality due to client site requirements.

About the Role

Run projects from start to finish, project can vary and can be up to £300,000, managing them from initial survey through to completion while working closely with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing site set-up and mobilisation.
• Have ownership and responsibility on the day-to-day management of project delivery up to £300,000.
• Experienced in managing direct labour, subcontractors, and the local supply chain.
• Sound understanding of CDM Regulations
• Experience in managing multi-trade projects on time and to budget
• Travelling across the M62 and M1 corridor, with occasional requirement to cover further afield as required.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
• Supporting project close-out, including invoicing.
• Carrying out site surveys and pricing small works.
• Generating additional project opportunities and supporting business growth.
• Working towards obtaining Security Clearance (SC), with existing SC clearance or British nationality due to client site requirements.

• Preferably Gas Project Management experience - Although will consider individuals with AC, Ventilation or Civils backgrounds too.
