Total Facilities Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Manager for a role in the Camberley area. The successful candidate will lead project delivery, coordinate across teams and manage from survey to handover while ensuring time, budget and client satisfaction.

Strong background in mechanical systems, heating, and risk management is preferred. Gas Safe qualification is desirable. Excellent progression opportunities exist within the expanding business.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in identifying and delivering project opportunities.
• Ensure opportunities for strategic development to increase turnover and profitability.
• Deliver projects to completion on time and on budget, exceeding client expectations where possible.
• Identify, reduce and manage risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial) on each project.
• Ensure compliance with project management policies and procedures.
• Ensure healthy and safe working conditions and adherence to CDM regulations on every project.
• Build strong relationships with sub-contractors for cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
• Develop project financial plans for revenue and profit delivery.
• Maintain positive cash flow with timely invoices and debt control below 60 days.
• Manage project delivery within budget to maximise profit and efficiency.
• Implement control systems to meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
• Maintain customer focus and strong client-site team relations to identify and win opportunities.
• Support the sales process through solutions development and client consultations.

£55,000 Basic Salary + £5k Car Allowance

My Client is looking for a Project Manager to join their project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management with sound knowledge of mechanical systems including heating systems. A gas safe qualification is preferable but not essential. You will also have project delivery experience able to run projects from the initial survey to handover. Providing leadership, management, and development of project opportunities within the location. It is essential that projects are secured and then delivered to meet time and budget requirements and to meet or exceed client expectations. There are excellent opportunities for progression available within our growing business.

About the Role:

• Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects.
• Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of projects are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
• To deliver projects to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, expectations to be exceeded wherever possible.
• To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with each and every project.
• Ensure compliance with project management policies and procedures.
• Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented and are regularly review on each and every project. This will include the timely delivery of a Health and Safety file for the works and full compliance with CDM regulations.
• To build strong relationships with sub-contractors, to ensure cost effective solutions which meet our quality expectations can be delivered to our clients whilst managing the risk and ensuring back-to-back terms and conditions.
• Development of project financial plans for revenue and profit delivery.
• Ensure positive cash flow through the upfront agreement of a relevant payment schedule and the submission of timely invoices/applications for payment. Ensuring all debt is controlled below 60 days.
• Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budget requirements with the target to maximise profit through cost reductions and better buying of sub-contractor services.
• Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
• Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts and the site teams/managers to identify and win project opportunities.
• Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings.
