We currently have an opportunity for Project Manager to join our Connect Portfolio team based in Waterloo. The role holder will be in charge of a specific project (or number of projects) to ensure the successful delivery of the project (or projects).

This is a hybrid role, where our minimum expectation is that you will be on site 2 days per week – in London.

Key Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Take overall responsibility for the delivery performance of a project, or part of a major complex project, ensuring that it is successfully managed to time, cost and quality.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the project team.
  • Ensure that the project is being delivered in accordance with governance processes
  • Effective management of change on the project, including variations and claims. Ensuring that change against the project baseline is recorded and controlled.
  • Supporting the Senior Project Manager in delivering against business KPIs for their programme or portfolio, including Revenue, Cash and EBIT.

  • Educated in a discipline that is compatible with the requirements of Project Management
  • Level D Professional accreditation with the Association for Project Management (or equivalent level of professional accreditation such as Prince2, PMI Institute, IRSE License Manager, etc.)
  • Experience in a technical environment within the telecommunications and/or rail industry (TFL, London underground, Network Rail or other country equivalents) are not mandatory but will be highly considered
