Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategically important change projects across functions, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality outcomes. You will embed change management, engage sponsors, and report progress throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, coaching teams, and risk/issue management, with a focus on continuous improvement and Health & Safety.

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or APM).
• Experience delivering multiple projects with business case development and benefits realisation.
• Experience of financial controls, RAID management and working with a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrable team leadership and resource management experience.
• Experience of delivering capital projects is desirable.

Circa £55,000 (Depending on Skills & Experience)

Permanent / Full-time /37 hours per week. (Flexible working opportunities available)

As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of strategically important change projects in a matrix management environment, coordinating colleagues and resources across functions to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to the required quality. You will be responsible for embedding effective change management practices, ensuring colleagues are engaged, prepared and supported throughout periods of transition.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, the ability to work collaboratively with sponsors and change managers, and a values-led approach to influencing and driving positive organisational change. You will lead project initiation activities, develop robust business cases, and ensure clear communication and reporting throughout the lifecycle of each project.

You will also coach and develop team members, manage risks and issues effectively, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, particularly around Health & Safety.

• Drive continuous improvement, particularly in relation to Health & Safety.
