Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Rochester, Kent is seeking a Project Manager to lead design, development and sustainment of electronic hardware products. The role covers development cycles for existing and new products, including analogue and digital design at system and circuit level.

You will work with a multidisciplinary R&D team and also independently drive projects to successful delivery. The candidate should have a strong track record in delivering engineering projects, be self‑motivated, technically

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing.
• Experience with Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
• Background in mechanical or electronic manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead hardware, software and mechanical cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with analogue and digital design at system level.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans, present to and review with customers.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to cross functional project teams (hardware, software, mechanical).
• Manage the NPI development and ensure new products are delivered on time and to quality and cost targets.
• Experience with electronic assembly techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams and stakeholders.

Are you a Project Manager looking for the next step in your career, based in Rochester, Kent?

My client are a world leading manufacturer of commercial and industrial fire detection and emergency lighting solutions. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead the design, develop and sustain electronic hardware products. The job will include working on development cycles for existing products and new product development. You will also be doing analogue and digital design at system, product, and circuit level. The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing multidiscipline R&D team but should also be comfortable working alone.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in delivery of engineering projects; they will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, technically excellent, business savvy and a strong communicator.

The successful Project Manager will come from a manufacturing background, either mechanical or electronic background.

Skills and Responsibilities of this Project Manager job:
